Fabrication
First try - Reproduce NoTech website cooker with a nice looking chair. I still have not finished to build it, it takes longer than I thought.
Second try - In the meantime and to test the technique, I used an old basket and some blankets at home. Quick but ugly.
Uses
- White pasta - I followed time indications found on Appropedia and left the pot 3 min boiling + 25 min in the cooker → Perfectly al dente!
- Rice - I followed time indications found on Appropedia and left the pot 3 min boiling + 25 min in the cooker → It was too much!
- Integral pasta - I know they usually take more time than regular pasta so left it 3 min boiling + 35 min in the cooker → Too much :(
- Potatoes and squash - I left them 3 minutes boiling and 30 minutes in the pot. → Not enough but I was impatient and still continued my recipe with it
- Chickpeas - I read somewhere that beans needed 25 minutes boiling and then 2h30 in the cooker so I followed these instructions → Not enough, when I opened the pot it was still not cooked, I left them one more hour but they were still not perfectly cooked. I wonder if the fact that I opened it ad any impact.
